As Fedco stores go under, Montgomery Ward folds, Kmart seems to be collapsing and Enron does too, our leadership says globalization is the answer, and I say the answer for whom?

Our president asks for unity and our homeless are begging for bread. Clinton is the one who started this and now Bush goes where he once treaded.

As America falls deeper, the black hole tightens its grip. Our enemies lay in darkness and our leadership seems blind to their plot to destroy us bit by bit.

They speak of global economy and I speak of lies and deceit. NAFTA is destroying America. That's plain for all to see.

Our leaders speak of growth and prosperity; that is all I read and see. Are they so blind to think that cutting back on programs, Americans losing their jobs, and pushing our homeless aside will lead us to a land of plenty?

Corporations are moving to Mexico and China today. They seem to be prospering while Americans lose their home. What shall happen to this once great nation, as our leaders continue to roam?
