Corruption in America

Cuts

Recently, I went to an American Patrol (www.americanpatrol.com) rally on the front lawn of the Federal Building in Westwood, California. I felt an immediate bonding with everyone there because I was among people with the same concern as mine. What is going to happen to the Americans?

The guest speakers were Glenn Spencer, President of American Patrol; Terry Anderson of the Terry Anderson show, www.theterryandersonshow.com; chairwoman, Barbara Coe; Ezola Foster from the California Coalition for Immigration Reform; and Pat Buchanan's running mate, Rev. Jesse Peterson from Bond.

The rally was barely underway when a group of men dressed in black with hoods and armed with clubs approached the rear of the building and were stopped by the police. There was a fight and the police arrested one man.

After the attack, Anderson made a call to arms. He believes we should arm ourselves. He said, if you don't have a gun, buy one, and take a class on how to use it, but use it responsibly. Anderson believes that America will see more bloodshed.

Foster agrees. She said the same ones in office today who are pushing amnesty are the same ones planning to take your guns away right now. Don't give them up. We must fight. In time of war you don't take away guns and we are at war. She also said people don't get involved until it affects them personally, when they see their schools being cut back and things taken away from them.

As you probably heard, President George W. Bush had a summit meeting in Mexico on March 22 to speak on NAFTA and taking the few job opportunities we have and spreading them more evenly throughout the world. He also spoke about giving $12 billion a year in grants to the poor nations by the year 2006.

How much more can we take? I read more and more about cuts in programs, schools, and medical. Children living in poverty rose by 430,000 in California, alone, West Virginia 28%, Louisiana 28%, New Mexico 26%, Mississippi 26%, and Arkansas 25%. Medicaid is being cut back so far in the state of North Carolina, it will not cover infant circumcision. In the state of Washington, 150,000 children may lose health insurance altogether. In Utah, families with annual incomes as low as $7,500 will have to pay a few dollars for each doctor's visit, up to $500 a year.

Wait, there's more. The Los Angeles Unified School Board approved a $51-Million cut in funds that will be taken from accounts intended for low-income schools and next year they're planning an increase in class size and laying off staff. Yet, we are told that Afghanistan's children need our help in improving their schools and their lifestyles. My concern is with our children's needs. Why should they pay the price? They seem to be losing more than gaining.

Governor Gray Davis of California targets the poor with his budget-cut programs such as medical, dental, childcare, and housing, and Bush is in bed with Mexico's President Vicente Fox. They want to open the borders and make all illegal immigrants; legal plus give them full welfare and medical.

Americans, our leaders are going around the world selling us out. These countries don't appreciate us; we are the most hated nation in the world.

I have been saying for years now that we are headed for a revolution only I prayed the American people would open their eyes and speak out. We have the power to take our country back from the government and make it for the American people again. All we have to do is unite and become whole. If we do not, I'm afraid there will be more violence. Americans, now is the time to start fighting for your rights. Don't wait for it to hit home.
