Corruption in America

Leadership

As the violence rages on in our workplace, many of us ask ourselves why? I believe the problem rests on our government. Our government is who our corporate management looks to for an example on how to treat their employees.

Let’s take a look at our President William Clinton, a man who lies on the stand, and our FBI has a tape of his brother buying cocaine for him. This is clearly an example of abuse of power.

He goes unpunished for raping, I heard 51 women was the last count. This is spousal abuse. Why does Hillary Clinton go on taking such treatment? I give Princess Diana credit because she left Prince Charles. She didn’t care about losing her crown or what the people thought or said about her. Enough was enough, and she walked out.

I believe this is why we have lying, killing, and corruption in our corporations today. Our corporate leaders see what the president does and watch his wife take the abuse she takes. With an example like this to follow, how can we expect them to show respect for their employees?

We may not be able to reach our business leaders of today, but with a new government that can set a good example for our corporations, we may have a chance to improve the workplace of tomorrow.

I recently filed a grievance at my workplace on double standard policy and verbal abuse. Just three days later, two more men came forward and made the same complaint. I only hope more people will speak out so we can change the future for our children.
