Corruption in America

Living A Lie
Our government says that our economy is growing and that America is the most respected country in the World. If you look at the facts, you’ll realize that this is all a deception.
Unemployment in 1992 was reportedly 7.5% and now in 2000, it is 3.9%. Did you know that the unemployment rate is based on household surveys? A household rating system does not account for homeless, marginally homeless (i.e., hotel residents, tent city residents) hidden unemployed, such as those living with friends and relatives, etc. This method is inconclusive and does not give us an accurate account of where we stand.
Our debt is over 5 trillion right now. By the year 2002, the debt will be over 6 trillion. On November 7, 2000, Page A21, the Los Angeles Times reported that our country is doing better. It says that our deficit in 1992 was 290 billion and now in 2000 we have a surplus of 237 billion. I ask where the government is laundering money.
In a recent speech, Al Gore said America is the most loved country in the world. If we are so loved, why was our warship, Cole, attacked in Yemen and why is Mexico throwing the Americans out of their country and taking their property away, and why are the Palestinians marching down the streets of America, chanting obscenities at our people.
I truly believe that it is time for a new government. The state of the union has been based on lies for so long, the American people don’t know what the truth is anymore. Americans, wake up.
